Hello,
Here at Internet Marketing Images, we’ve focused on informing the public with helpful tips and examples of great results people have received, from either updating or redoing their websites or executing marketing campaigns.
Together, we are facing a situation that is unprecedented. A situation causing many business owners to wonder what choice to make. Should they pull back, stop advertising, shut down completely or try and keep operating as usual? I wanted to take a moment of your time and share some advice I once received. This advice is from someone who deals with hundreds of companies on a regular basis and thousands of companies over the years.
Even though every business and industry are different, and each situation is unique, the one thing I can tell you is that the wrong thing to do about this situation is completely shutting down and withdrawing all communication and marketing.
Almost every business owner or executive I know works extremely hard because they firmly believe in what they do and are focused on making a positive impact in someone’s life. Whether your business is B2B or B2C, your customers depend on you to be there when they need your service or product. Your activity in your business actually helps people, not to mention the positive impact on you and your family when run right.
From my observations, businesses that completely shut down often have an extremely difficult road to reopen after a crisis has passed. The ones who can find a way to keep operating or at least maintain open lines of communication with the public, typically have a much easier time getting back into operation when business returns to normal.
Even if at this time you are currently unable to service clients or take on new business, by no fault of your own, If you can figure out how to keep communicating to prospects and customers informing them your business still exists, you can generate confidence that you will still exist when this crisis has passed. Communication clearly helps you and your business, but it also helps provide stability to your clients and creating a much calmer state of mind across the country. Remaining calm, understanding, and persistent will help us all get through this situation easier.
This is just some advice I wanted to share. You can choose to listen or ignore as you see fit. However, I truly hope that if you’re reading this, that you can take a look at ways you can keep providing some service, or at least keep communicating through email, social media, phone calls, etc. By keeping your lines of communication and marketing open, you let your customers know you are still there, and you’ll still be there when this crisis is over.
This email is not a sales pitch. I am not asking you to purchase anything. I just want you to know, if you need help, our marketing team is available to talk through your options, including things you can do on your own that cost nothing.
We’ll be sending more helpful tips and information to help your business and how other successful businesses are forging a path as we roll forward into the future. We’re here for you.
Stay safe and keep communicating!
